UAE Ambassador to Australia meets Premier of Tasmania

H.E. Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, UAE ambassador to Australia, has discussed with Will Hodgman, Premier of Tasmania, Australia, cooperation between the two countries in the areas of economy, tourism, education, investment and cultural exchange. 

They also discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. 

During his official visit to the State of Tasmania, the UAE envoy stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries, which have become important strategic partners. 

The two sides tackled the overall bilateral relations between Tasmania and the UAE, focussing on investment opportunities, trade and encouraging businessmen on both sides to establish joint projects, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest. 

Hodgman praised the relations between the UAE and Australia, citing the interest of his government in the UAE's economic diversification plans.
