UAE Ambassador to Mogadishu meets President of South West State of Somalia

Ambassador of the UAE to Mogadishu, Mohammed Ahmed Al Hammadi,  met with President of South West State of Somalia, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan, to discuss bilateral relations between the UAE and Somalia, in particular the South West State.

During the meeting which took place at the UAE Embassy, the UAE offered aid to the South West State as part of its support for the Federal Republic of Somalia in various spheres.

Sheikh Adan praised the UAE's latest initiative as well as continuous support for Somalia through development and humanitarian projects.

He said the UAE's assistance for the South West State which will help the people of Somalia shows the strong relations between the UAE and the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Ambassador Al Hammadi stressed that the UAE will continue to extend support and aid to all Somalia and its states to boost the peace process and achieve stability in the country.

He also thanked the president of South West State of Somalia for his efforts to bolster relations between Somalia and the UAE.
