H.E. Reem Al Hashimi concludes official tour to Caribbean countries

H.E. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State of the UAE, concluded an official six-day tour to the Bahamas, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados and Guyana.

She led a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including the UAE Consul General in New York City during the visits between 9th-14th January.

During the tour, Al Hashimi met heads of states, prime ministers and ministers of energy, tourism, economy and infrastructure of these countries.

The delegation held talks about matters of common interest and ways of bolstering bilateral relations and trade and opening new avenues for investors from the UAE and these countries.

The UAE delegation also visited the reconstruction site of Grenada's Parliament, partly funded by the UAE, as well as a school and an Emirati investment project in Antigua and Barbuda.
