The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has begun implementation of the 2nd phase of its employees healthcare programme.

The 2nd phase involves provision of healthy food menus to encourage employees to adopt a healthy life style and to pursue the best healthy practices.

The programme was launched in June within the context of implementing the UAE National Agenda in line with the UAE Vision 2021, which is aimed at adopting a healthy lifestyle that leads to a reduced risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart and artery diseases.

It entails several initiatives, to be implemented in collaboration with the ministry's strategic partners, to promote health related awareness among the employees and to help them curb the daily stress of work through a series of workshops and sports activities for the ministry's teams.
