UAE ِِAmbassador meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya

H.E. Abdul Razak Mohamed Hadi, UAE Ambassador to Kenya, has met Amina Mohamed, Kenya's Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, as part of regular consultations to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral ties.

The Kenyan minister congratulated the Ambassador on the first anniversary of the launch of the Africa's largest consular service centre in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, saying the centre had generated job opportunities for the Kenyan citizens and assisted the missions of businessmen.

Further, Amina Mohamed She expressed the readiness of the Kenyan Foreign Ministry to streamline procedures for Kenyan citizens traveling to the UAE, particularly professionals. 

She also thanked the UAE for extending medical, humanitarian and educational assistance to the Kenyan people.

Additionally, the Kenyan minister also highlighted the importance of joint cooperation with the UAE as a strategic partner and discussed investments by UAE companies in infrastructure and water desalination projects in Kenya. 

''The Government of Kenya is interested in forging investment partnerships with the UAE in areas of food security, agriculture and animal husbandry, she stated.

As the meeting tackled reviewed plans for the World Trade Organisation Conference Nairobi will host next month, the Kenyan Minister sough assistance and support from the UAE to assure that the international important gathering would be a success.

She said the Kenyan delegation would hold joint meetings with the UAE delegates to the conference on ways to strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
