H.E. Mariam Al Shamsi, the Consul General of the UAE in Guangzhou, met with the President & Founder of Wiseman (Shenzhen) New Energy Company, where they discussed strengthening cooperation in the energy sector and discussed investment opportunities with UAE companies .

The UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou hosted an Iftar Reception which brought together local government officials and strategic partners for an inspiring evening celebrating UAE cultural heritage and Ramadan’s spirit of unity. In honor of the ‘Year of Community’, the reception featured a knowledge-sharing session by Professor Peng Wang on water security, encouraging attendees to take collective action towards social responsibility. Oud performance and interactive cultural booths also served to promote open dialogue and meaningful exchange between guests.

The UAE Consul General in Guangzhou H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, met with H.E. Zhang Jin song the Director General of Guangdong Department of Commerce, where they discussed enhancing collaboration in economic and trade sectors, and mutual cooperation areas.

The two sides also reviewed the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing collaboration between the two countries on the coronavirus inoculations and treatments.
