As part of its mission to support UAE companies and entities, the Consulate General of the UAE in Guangzhou participated in the 2025 Experience Abu Dhabi workshop in Shenzhen, hosted by Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi. H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, Consul General, delivered a speech during the event.

The Consul General of the UAE in Guangzhou, H.E. Mariam Alshamsi met with representatives of Noatum Logistics Company, owned by Abu Dhabi Ports, as part of the mission’s efforts to support national companies in the provinces and regions within its jurisdiction.

H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, Consul General of the UAE in Guangzhou, received Ms. Laura Xu Director, Global Head of Public Affairs in OPPO Devices, to understand more about the company’s activities in the Middle East in general and the UAE in particular.

The Consul General H.E Mariam Alshamsi paid a visit to Yantian International Port in Shenzhen, to learn about the port’s latest development and its main business in southern China region & globally.

The UAE Consul General in Guangzhou H.E. Mariam Alshamsi met with several leading companies in Guangdong Province, to learn about their main business , and the its future investment plans in the UAE.

H.E. Mariam Alshamsi the Consul General paid a visit to Shenzhen Bus Group, to explore potential cooperation in transportation, and other related fields.

The UAE Consul General in Guangzhou H.E. Mariam Alshamsi received representative from OPB China to explore potential opportunities for cooperation, in order to enhance bilateral economic and trade relations.

The UAE Consul General in Guangzhou H.E. Mariam Alshamsi paid a visit to Dong Peng Holdings, a leading manufacturer Foshan-based company, to get updated on the company’s development & business, and it’s plans to build partnerships in the UAE.

Mariam Alshamsi visited Guangzhou Environmental Protection Investment co., ltd, During the visit H.E. learned about the company's main business and future expansion plans in the global market & investment opportunities in the environmental protection sector and related fields .

Under the theme “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years” for Emirati Women’s Day 2025, the UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou led by Consul General H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, hosted a culturally enriched and economically focused event in Guangzhou, titled “She Engine: Driving Growth in Financial Services and Green Building.” H.E. Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary of the Support Services Sector at the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism; Ms. Xie Huirong, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee; Ms. Zeng Xiaojia, Vice-president of Guangdong Women’s Federation; along with women representatives from government, chambers of commerce and enterprises of the UAE and the Greater Bay Area, attended the event.

The UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou and Futian District Government in Shenzhen jointly hosted , the 2025 Shenzhen (Futian)-UAE Digital Economy Industry International Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference, This event brought together representatives of companies, trade associations and chambers of Commerce from Shenzhen and the UAE to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment.

The Consul General H.E. Mariam Alshamsi visited Guangzhou Water Investment Group , to discuss cooperation and Exchanges in the water and water treatment sector to enhance the company's investment opportunities in the UAE.

The UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou warmly welcomed Emirati students participating in the summer school program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, Consul General, engaged in meaningful discussions with the students and encouraged them to actively explore Chinese culture and build lasting international friendships.

The UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou participated in Sharjah Tourism Roadshow China 2025, which hosted by Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Authority, in order to promote the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah with focus on strengthen cooperation with the Chinese market.

The UAE Consul General H.E. Mariam Alshamsi participated in the establishing ceremony of Ajman Free zone representative office in the City of Shenzhen, in a presence of H.E. Ismail Al Naqi Director-General, Free Zones Authority to enhance investment cooperation and business expansion of Ajman Free Zone in China.

The Consul General H.E. Mariam Alshamsi paid a visit to the 2025 China International Food and Ingredients Expo (CIFIE) in the city of Dongguan in Guangdong Province, to explore investment opportunities between Emirati and Chinese companies.
