H.E. Jamal Al Musharakh Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva

H.E. Jamal Al Musharakh serves as the Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva, and as the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization. He brings more than 15 years of diplomatic experience gained through his service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE’s diplomatic missions abroad, particularly in multilateral diplomacy, policy planning, and European affairs.

H.E. Al Musharakh began his diplomatic career in several departments and offices at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the European Affairs Department, the Office of the UAE Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. He subsequently served as Deputy Permanent Representative at the UAE Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, before becoming Director of the Policy Planning Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He later served as the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. During his tenure in the Netherlands, he also served as Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion at Floriade Expo 2022, before assuming his current roles in Geneva.

H.E. Jamal Al Musharakh holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies, with a concentration in International Relations, from the American University of Sharjah, and a master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Affairs from Zayed University.
