Trade between Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates showed strong growth over the last five years.
In 2024, total trade rose to USD 26,524.25 million, an increase of 19.01%, before surging sharply to USD 60,943.59 million in 2025, recording an exceptional growth rate of 129.77% compared to the previous year.
In terms of trade composition, the UAE’s imports from Switzerland increased from USD 13,019.49 million in 2024 to USD 13,637.14 million in 2025, reflecting a growth of 4.74%. UAE exports to Switzerland experienced remarkable growth, rising from USD 12,444.78 million in 2024 to USD 45,560.18 million in 2025, representing an increase of 266.10%. Meanwhile, UAE re-exports to Switzerland also expanded significantly, growing from USD 1,059.99 million in 2024 to USD 1,746.27 million in 2025, an increase of 64.74%. Overall, Switzerland ranked 3rd globally in terms of the UAE’s foreign trade volume.
