The UAE Embassy in Ethiopia delivered opening remarks at the "Hili" Regional Dialogue in Addis Ababa. Organized by the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) in partnership with the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) and the Ethiopian Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA), the event was held under the theme "Strengthening UAE-Africa Partnerships for Sustainable Economic Development."
The high-level forum brought together prominent dignitaries, including H.E. Getachew Reda, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister for East African Affairs, the Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs, and senior officials representing 10 African nations. The dialogue aimed to foster discussion among policymakers, think tanks, and private-sector leaders on key areas of mutual interest, including investment, trade, climate security, critical minerals, and emerging technologies.
