Yes, a visa is required to enter the Federal Republic of Nigeria as follows:
• Ordinary passport holders: Electronic Visa (e-Visa) required prior to travel.
• Diplomatic, Special, and Official passport holders: Visa required prior to travel.
Note:
• There is no visa-free entry and no visa on arrival for UAE nationals. The visa must be obtained before departure through the official Nigerian Immigration Service portal.
• Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
• A valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Card) is mandatory for entry.
• Travelers must complete the Electronic Landing/Exit Card and retain the generated QR code.
• UAE nationals are advised to register their travel through the Twajudi service provided by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• As entry requirements may change, travelers should verify the latest visa and travel requirements through the official Nigerian Immigration Service and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs before making travel arrangements.

Yes. UAE nationals are strongly advised to register with the Twajudi service before traveling or during their stay in Nigeria. Registration enables the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate with travelers and provide assistance in case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
Contact the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Abuja or the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Lagos immediately. Report the loss to the local police and obtain a police report. You should also provide a copy of the lost passport (if available) and proof of identity. After verifying your information, the UAE diplomatic mission will issue an Emergency Travel Document to facilitate your return to the United Arab Emirates.
Prohibited items include firearms and ammunition, illegal drugs and narcotics, pornographic materials, certain meat, poultry, and egg products, some restricted medications, counterfeit goods, and toxic or hazardous waste. Travelers are advised to consult the official Nigeria Customs Service website for the latest list of prohibited and restricted items before traveling.

Major hospitals in Abuja and Lagos are generally better equipped to provide emergency medical care. Travelers are also advised to keep local emergency contact numbers readily available throughout their stay.
