Prime Minister of Vietnam receives HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met with Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of  Vietnam.

During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the Prime Minister of Vietnam, and Their Highnesses' wishes to the Vietnamese people for more progress and prosperity.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister reciprocated his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid His and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and his best wishes for Their Highnesses and the UAE people for more progress and prosperity.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and the Prime Minister of Vietnam reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, including the need to promote private investment in the fields of energy and economic relations.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed hope that his visit to Vietnam would open wider horizons and broaden and deepen joint cooperation between the public and private sectors and consolidate the friendly relations between the two countries.

He also expressed his admiration and appreciation for the achievements of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the significant strides it has made to promote the process of development and the pursuit of prosperity for its people.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the UAE delegation headed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to participate in the third meeting of the Joint Commission in Hanoi, wishing for further growth and development in various fields between the two countries for the welfare and benefit of the two friendly peoples.

He also hailed the comprehensive cultural and urban development and renaissance witnessed by the UAE which contribute to enhancing the UAE's stature as an important destination for various international companies that are looking for investment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith, UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic Affairs, H.E. Khaled Ibrahim Abdul Aziz Shuhail, UAE Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs at the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the East Asia and Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
