The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) provides a Return Document service for UAE nationals whose passports are lost, damaged, or have expired while abroad. Applications may be submitted through the MoFA website or the UAE MoFA smart app. Once all requirements have been met, the Return Document is issued within 30 minutes.
