H.E. Ibrahim Ali Saeed Alsharhan Al Nuaimi serves as Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Spain and has an extensive diplomatic career spanning key political and diplomatic assignments within the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE missions abroad.
He began his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, serving in the Political Affairs Department (2013–2016). He subsequently served as Head of the Political Affairs Department at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Rome (2016–2022), where he played an important role in advancing bilateral relations and political cooperation.
Since 2022, H.E. Al Nuaimi has served as Head of the Political Affairs, Media and Public Diplomacy Department at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Madrid. In addition to his departmental responsibilities, he currently serves as Chargé d’Affaires a.i., contributing to the strengthening of UAE–Spain relations and promoting cooperation across political, media, cultural and public diplomacy fields.
H.E. Al Nuaimi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, United States of America (2012).
