The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador, Her Excellency Gabriela Sommerfeld, awarded His Excellency Ibrahim Salem Humaid Ali Alalawi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Peru and concurrently accredited to the Republic of Ecuador, the National Order of Honorato Vásquez, in the grade of Grand Cross, granted by decree of His Excellency Daniel Noboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, in recognition of his outstanding work in strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Ecuador.
During the award ceremony, Her Excellency Sommerfeld highlighted His Excellency's prominent role in developing cooperation and friendship between the two countries, as well as his efforts that have contributed to consolidating the partnership between the UAE and Ecuador.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for this honor, reaffirming the interest of both parties in continuing to develop bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in various fields, for the benefit of both countries and friendly peoples.
