Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Discusses Strengthening UAE–Rwanda Cooperation in Kigali
During his visit to Kigali, H.E. Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability, discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Rwanda in the areas of energy, infrastructure, water and sanitation.
In Kigali, H.E. Balalaa met with H.E. Dr. Bernadette Arakwiye, Minister of Environment; H.E. Armand Zingiro, Minister of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure; Dr. Asaph Kabaasha, CEO of the Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC); and Stella Rusine Nteziryayo, CEO of the Development Bank of Rwanda.
The meetings explored opportunities for investment and the exchange of expertise and knowledge, supporting sustainable development and further strengthening the partnership between the UAE and Rwanda.
