Welcoming message from the Head of Mission

Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE is one of the fastest-growing nations in the world. It is a constitutional federation of seven emirates and Abu Dhabi city is its capital.

When talking about the UAE, we are talking about authenticity, openness, moderation, and determination to confront extremism and work towards achieving a promising future and contribute effectively to dealing with the challenges faced by humanity.

The UAE's advanced position in competitive global indicators is part of the strategy of the UAE government and its determination to achieve further progress, besides, the country stands out as one of the world´s largest aid donors. Today, the UAE forges ahead a model of tolerance and acceptance, with more than 200 nationalities living in harmony in a safe environment.

The opening of the Embassy in Havana, Cuba; on October 5th, 2015 has contributed to strengthening relations with the Caribbean region in different areas. Over these years we have witnessed important advancements in the overall bilateral relations between the UAE, the Caribbean, and Cuba.

We look forward to furthering cooperation with the Caribbean States.
