The agreement on the cooperation in the field of culture between the Governments of the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed on April 25, 2004.
The cultural days of Azerbaijan have been held in the UAE as well as the UAE cultural days have been held in Azerbaijan, both of which caused a big interest. Azerbaijani artists, musicians periodically participate at the festivals held in the UAE.
The UAE is annually represented at Baku Process World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue as well as at International Humanitarian Forum hosted by Baku.
His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, headed the delegation participating in the Sixth Global Forum for Intercultural Dialogue, which was held in Baku on May 1, 2024.
In the presence of His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and General-Director of ICESCO, the activities of the Cultural Day were opened in the city of Shusha, with the participation of a number of artistic groups from different countries, including the Emirati Al-Mazyoud Band.
