H.E. Ibrahim Salem Alalawi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, met with H.E. Gian Carlo Loffredo Rendón, Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Ecuador. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of security and defense, as well as the exchange of expertise and support for regional security and stability. Both sides reaffirmed the strength of the relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Ecuador.
