The Webinar was held in cooperation with Mr. Kiyoshi Sekiguchi, General Manager of the "Shonan Bellemare”, a professional soccer team in The Japanese football J-League and Mr. Rashed Alzarooni, Emirati student studying at the University of Tokyo Science, to earn a master’s degree. During the webinar, the participants discussed the two countries' efforts to enhance the mental and physical capabilities of youth and the vital role that sports plays to enhance mutual understanding and friendship relations between the two countries.

Since 1979, The UAE has been participating in the Sumo tournament by gifting the winner a huge coffee pot. The usage of the coffee pot is an indication of hospitality in the UAE, where guests are always welcomed by a fresh cup of coffee. This is the original coffee pot that was used in 1979 by UAE Ambassador Ahmed Almoqarab. It is made out of silver. A different coffee pot was used until July 2023 and the latest version was introduced in the September 2023 Sumo Final in Tokyo.
