Webinar on "Expo 2020 Dubai, a new opportunity further to level up the relations between the UAE and Japan."
At the outset, Mr. Ammar Al Samahi, Head of the Media affairs and Public Diplomacy Section, praised the UAE's role in preparing to host the global event and its efforts contributing to deal with different challenges such as the Corona pandemic by adopting the best solutions and services for international participants.
The guests of the webinar were, from the UAE side, Mr. Omar Shehadeh, Chief International Participants Officer - Expo 2020 Dubai.
From the Japanese side Mr. Nakamura Tomiyasu, Commissioner General of Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and Special Envoy of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. During the webinar, the guests gave two valuable presentations on the UAE and Japan's efforts to make the international exhibition a success, including the precautionary measures to contain the Coronavirus outbreak.
