Under the theme “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years” for Emirati Women’s Day 2025, the UAE Consulate General in Guangzhou led by Consul General H.E. Mariam Alshamsi, hosted a culturally enriched and economically focused event in Guangzhou, titled “She Engine: Driving Growth in Financial Services and Green Building.” H.E. Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary of the Support Services Sector at the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism; Ms. Xie Huirong, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee; Ms. Zeng Xiaojia, Vice-president of Guangdong Women’s Federation; along with women representatives from government, chambers of commerce and enterprises of the UAE and the Greater Bay Area, attended the event.
