H.E. Ali Rashed Al Mazrouei serves as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Libya. He has a long diplomatic career spanning postings across the North America, South East Asia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarter.
H.E began his diplomatic career at the European and American Department, then posted to serve at the UAE Embassy in Canada (2009–2013), followed by assignments at the UAE Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand (2013–2018). He also served as:
- Director of the office of H.E Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, during the period of 2021-2025.
- Director of the office of the Assistant Minister for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the period of 2019-2021.
- Service in the West Asia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the period of 2018-2019
H.E. holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and politics from Coventry University, United Kingdom in 2007 and a Master degree in Political Science, Carleton University, Canada in 2013
