The Consulate General of the UAE in New York was pleased to visit the State of Maine as part of our continued efforts to strengthen partnerships across the northeastern United States.
During the visit, H.E. Consul General Amna Almheiri met with Governor Janet Mills, leadership from the Roux Institute, the Maine International Trade Center (MITC), the Maine Department of Energy Resources, and the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences to explore opportunities for collaboration in innovation, research, higher education, clean energy, and the blue economy.
The discussions highlighted the strong synergies between the UAE and Maine's shared commitment to advancing science, technology, sustainability, and ocean innovation. We look forward to building on these conversations and fostering meaningful partnerships between our communities.
