Dubai Holding has announced the acquisition of the five-star Jumeirah Mallorca Resort on the Spanish island of Mallorca, further strengthening its presence in the European hospitality sector.
The resort, which features 121 rooms and is located in Port de Sóller, will continue to operate under the Jumeirah brand. Dubai Holding also plans to make additional investments to enhance the guest experience and further establish the property as a premier destination in the Mediterranean region.
Following this acquisition, Dubai Holding Hospitality’s international portfolio has expanded to 34 hotels and resorts, including five Jumeirah-branded properties in Europe, in line with the Group’s strategy of investing in high-end hospitality assets that generate long-term value.
The resort is distinguished by its LEED Platinum certification for sustainability and energy efficiency and enjoys a prime location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
