His Excellency Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, met with His Excellency Shilan Khalil, representative of the Minister of Education of the Regional Government, and discussed with her bilateral relations, in addition to developments in implementing the smart school initiative launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, in A number of schools in the region, to keep pace with the best smart distance education experiences. During the meeting, the participation of a number of Kurdistan Region students in the Arab Reading Challenge program was discussed, which is the largest project of its kind launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The region is scheduled to participate with three participants in the program.
