His Excellency Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Consul General of the UAE in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, attended the Kurdistan-European Business Council Forum, which was attended by officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government, as well as representatives of European institutions and companies and diplomats.
His Excellency the Consul General of the UAE, during his intervention at the opening session of the forum, explained the efforts of the UAE in many sectors, including agriculture, tourism, investment, and the environment, stressing also the great interest in raising awareness of climate change issues and the impact of climate change, and promoting preventive projects to reduce the effects of climate change, and the tendency to support International efforts in this field through many activities at the international level, including hosting the work of the current year 2023 session of the United Nations Climate Conference COP 28.
