The Chargé d’Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Damascus, Mr. Abdul Hakeem Alnuaimi, received Ms. Khawla Matar, Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Syria, with the presence of the two members of the mission, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Khaili and Mr. Sultan Muhammad Sultan Al-Shehhi, and the meeting discussed developments in the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic in various fields .
Mrs. Matar praised the remarkable humanitarian role achieved by the UAE towards the Syrian people, through the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
