The Chargé d'Affaires Heba Aljneibi at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Maldives, attended the inauguration ceremony of the SIDS Global Business Network Forum 2026 and the Island Investment Forum. The forum highlighted the role of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, e-government, financial technology (FinTech), and other emerging technologies in addressing the challenges facing Small Island Developing States (SIDS), alongside supporting the business sector, improving services, and creating new economic opportunities.
