During her working visit to the United Arab Emirates in 2026, Evika Siliņa met with His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening cooperation in the economy, innovation, and healthcare. Her Excellency also held meetings with His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the presence of Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the preparatory day of the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai, as well as with other senior officials and dignitaries. The visit underscored efforts to expand trade, attract investment, and deepen strategic ties, with both sides emphasizing shared values and long-term partnership between the UAE and Latvia.
