This call was part of His Highness's ongoing communications and discussions, which have also included British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, His Highness was briefed on the latest developments. The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations and the energy sector, particularly in light of Russia's cooperation with the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). They agreed on the importance of maintaining stability in the global energy market.
His Highness was also briefed by the Russian President on the developments in the crisis with Ukraine. His Highness emphasized the need for a peaceful resolution to the crisis that safeguards the interests and national security of all parties.
His Highness stressed the importance of continued serious communication and consultations to resolve the crisis and reach a political settlement that achieves global peace and security.
In this context, His Highness affirmed that the UAE will continue its contacts with all relevant parties to help find political solutions to the crisis.
