During the call, the Russian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the President of the UAE for the success of the UAE's mediation efforts regarding the recent prisoner exchange between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
His Highness and the Russian President also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them, foremost among them the Ukrainian crisis. His Highness emphasized the UAE's steadfast approach to supporting peace and stability on both the regional and international stages and finding political solutions to conflicts and disputes through continued dialogue and diplomacy. He stressed the UAE's commitment to supporting all initiatives and efforts that would alleviate the humanitarian repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis.
