His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation, held a meeting with His Excellency Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Governor of the Samara Region, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which was held in St. Petersburg from 3 to 6 June 2026.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the economic and investment potential of the Samara Region and discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the region in a number of sectors of mutual interest, particularly industry, agriculture, and education, in a manner that supports economic partnerships and opens new horizons for cooperation and investment between the two sides.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for cooperation with Emirati institutions and companies and explored promising projects that would enhance trade and investment exchange and achieve shared interests.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) and Abu Dhabi Capital, in addition to Ms. Meitha Al Saleh, Senior Economic and Commercial Affairs Specialist at the Mission, and Ms. Hamda Al Shayji, Senior Political Affairs Specialist at the Mission.
