President Vladimir Putin also expressed gratitude and appreciation to the UAE President for the United Arab Emirates' continued successful mediation efforts regarding the exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of these efforts and their humanitarian significance.
Furthermore, the parties discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them, primarily regarding the development of the situation in the Middle East, its serious implications for regional and international security and stability, as well as its impact on freedom of international navigation, energy security, and the global economy.
