Bilateral relations between the two countries have witnessed significant development in all areas and at all levels. The UAE reiterates its commitment to investment in cooperation and coordination with the Union of the Comoros at the bilateral level and in regional and international forums, in order to achieve mutual interests.
Commercial relations between the two countries have also seen substantial progress recently, manifested in the increase of the non-oil commercial trade volume by 5% in 2019, compared to 2018 (from $USD56.6 to 59.6 million), and both sides are looking forward to continuing this cooperation and taking it to broader horizons.
The UAE is on the list of the top five exporters to the Union of the Comoros.
