H.E. Jumaa Rashed Khamis Ahmed Alromaithi serves as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Union of the Comoros. He has a distinguished diplomatic career that includes a range of assignments within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE’s diplomatic missions abroad.
He began his career at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where he worked at the Arab World Department and the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates in Geneva. He later served at the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Between 2007 and 2014, he served in the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2016 to 2018, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Americas Affairs Department, contributing to the strengthening of the UAE’s relations with countries across the Americas.
In 2018, H.E. Alromaithi was appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Costa Rica, where he served until 2022, before being appointed Ambassador to the Union of the Comoros.
H.E. Jumaa Rashed Khamis Ahmed Alromaithi holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Translation from the University of Strasbourg and speaks several foreign languages, including English, French, and Spanish.
