The UAE Embassy in Singapore celebrate the 53rd UAE National Day

On the occasion of the 53rd UAE National Day, the UAE Embassy in Singapore organized a special celebration attended by Guest of Honor, Dr. Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Ministry of Health in Singapore. The event also welcomed members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Singapore, business leaders, representatives of UAE companies operating in Singapore, UAE nationals, and a number of intellectual, artistic, and social figures.

In his opening speech, the UAE Ambassador highlighted that National Day is an occasion to celebrate the nation’s journey and the authentic Emirati values instilled by the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace. The Ambassador emphasized that these values have become a cornerstone of the path pursued by the UAE’s wise leadership, which continues to craft new chapters of the nation’s success story, driven by its deep faith in the exceptional capabilities of Emiratis and their relentless efforts to achieve progress and prosperity for the country and all who live in the UAE. The event featured a video documenting the founding of the union, alongside a range of cultural and artistic performances showcasing the richness of Emirati heritage. Traditional performances by an Emirati Almazyoudi band captivated the audience, while diverse artistic presentations by students from Minds and Special Olympics, community institutions dedicated to serving people with special needs in Singapore added a unique humanistic and cultural touch to the celebration.
