The UAE ambassador meets with the Russian Deputy Minister of Transport
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Jaber, the UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, met His Excellency Dmitry Zverev, Minister of State, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, at the headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Transport. The two sides reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and the Russian Federation in all fields, especially in the field of air transport, in order to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples. His Excellency affirmed the embassy’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the field of air transport. In this regard, His Excellency Zverev stated that there are regular flights to 22 cities in Russia, and that permission has been obtained to grant airlines from Emirates the right to operate 11 unscheduled flights on the basis of reciprocity.
