In recent years, the cultural partnership between the UAE and the Union of the Comoros has witnessed remarkable developments.
In 2021, the Union of the Comoros took part in Expo 2020 Dubai. The participation in Expo within Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion was highlighted as the first international participation of the Comoros in an exhibition abroad.
Therefore, UAE was the host of several cultural and heritage-related events launched by the Comoros during Expo 2020 Dubai.
The UAE Embassy in Moroni has also organized several cultural events in the Comoros as part of the cultural and educational initiatives program, presented to the Comorian people by UAE volunteers.
