H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, UAE Ambassador in Belgrade, along with members of the Embassy, met with Mr. Dusan Carkic, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia. The meeting focused on discussion to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore potential investment opportunities.

In the presence of H.E. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, Ambassador of the UAE to Serbia, H.E. Sinisa Mali, Minister of Finance of Serbia, H.E. Adriana Mesarovic, Minister of Economy of Serbia, and H.E. Mohamed Alabar, Founder and President of the "Eagle Hills" company from the United Arab Emirates, a ceremonial event was held to mark the completion of the construction of the "St. Regis Belgrade" hotel in the Belgrade Waterfront Project.

H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, the UAE Ambassador in Belgrade, took part in the conference titled "How to Do Business with Serbia", together with H.E. Adriana Mesarovic, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, and H.E. Mohammad Lootha, Director General of the Dubai Chambers.

Today, alongside President Aleksandar Vucic, I witnessed the exchange of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Serbia. In further building upon growing UAE-Serbia ties, this agreement paves the way for a new era of economic cooperation and affirms our shared commitment to fostering lasting growth and prosperity for our countries and people.

During their meeting, they discussed the potential for enhancing cooperation between Serbian companies and those in the United Arab Emirates.

His Excellency Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, met with Her Excellency Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Minister of Education of Serbia, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, both sides underlined the bilateral ties, and the two countries’ mutual commitment to increase cooperation across various fields, particularly in the areas of higher education and scientific research.

In an effort to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government of Serbia, welcomed H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Belgrade at the Ministry headquarters. The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance relations between the two countries and to broaden cooperation in the field of innovation in public administration as well as other areas of mutual interest.

In celebration of Diplomacy Day in the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Marko Djuric, Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted a reception for diplomats and ambassadors accredited to Serbia.

H.E. Maja Popovic, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, welcomed H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, the Ambassador of the UAE to Serbia, and a delegation from "Mohammed bin Zayed" University for Humanities at the Ministry’s headquarters. The delegation was led by the University’s Rector Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri. During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities for scientific and academic collaboration in various areas of shared interest. The UAE expressed its willingness to collaborate in fields of students and faculty exchanges, as well as sharing experiences to enhance knowledge acquisition.

During an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Muhammed bin Mubarak Fadel Almazrouei, Minister of State for Defence of the UAE, accompanied by military officers and representatives of the Ministry of Defence, met with H.E. Aleksandar Vucic, President of Serbia, H.E. Milos Vucevic, Prime Minister of Serbia and H.E. Bratislav Gasic, Minister of Defence of Serbia.

H.E. Ana Brnabić, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, officially opened the 66th International Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements at the Belgrade Fair.

H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, the Ambassador of the UAE participated in a lecture titled “The Beauty of the Arabic Language” by Sheikh Issam Muhammad Seyyid Hassan, the Imam of Al Azhar University. The event took place at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt and with the support of H.E. Bassem Salah, the Egyptian Ambassador to Belgrade.

His Excellency Miloš Vučević, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, opened the 91st International Agricultural Fair, held under the sponsorship of UAE-based company Al Dahra, in the city of Novi Sad.

H.E. Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia, met with H.E. Maja Popovic, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia.

H.E. Almenhali also discussed with H.E. Ristić ways to enhance ties between the UAE and Serbia in the media, where both sides emphasized the importance of reinforcing productive cooperation between both countries.

In an effort to enhance the cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, met with H.E. Hussein Memic, the Serbian Minister of Tourism and Youth.
