His Excellency Salem Alshamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, met with His Excellency General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria, in Abuja, where the two sides reviewed the overall aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to further develop and enhance it.
They also discussed the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Both sides praised the level of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and intensified efforts to strengthen cooperation across various fields, in a manner that serves mutual interests and supports security and stability.
