UAE Ambassador Meets President of Equatorial Guinea to Discuss Strengthening Relations

His Excellency Salem Saeed Al Shamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, met with His Excellency Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, during his visit to Malabo.

H.E. Al Shamsi conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to His Excellency the President, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the country and its people.

H.E. Al Shamsi expressed appreciation for the solidarity shown by the Republic of Equatorial Guinea with the United Arab Emirates in response to the treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks, affirming the UAE’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.

For his part, His Excellency the President conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, expressing his best wishes for continued growth and development for the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates.

The President welcomed H.E. Al Shamsi, expressing his deep appreciation for the United Arab Emirates and affirming the strength of bilateral relations and their continuous development across various sectors, as well as his country’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation and partnership.

He also praised the UAE’s development experience and its achievements in the fields of economy, infrastructure, and technology, noting that the country has become a global model for sustainable development and a prominent economic and commercial hub worldwide.
