H.E. Abdulrahman Ahmed Sultan Essa Al Jaber serves as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Bulgaria. He has built a distinguished diplomatic career, combining assignments at the UAE's diplomatic missions abroad with a range of leadership roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
H.E. began his career in May 2009 as Protocol and Schedule Officer in the Office of H.E. Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates. He subsequently joined the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the United States, where he served as Head of the American Affairs Section from 2010 to 2013. He later headed the Economic Section at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Federal Republic of Germany before returning to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he led the Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Central Europe Sections within the European Affairs Department. He was subsequently appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Bulgaria.
H.E. Abdulrahman Ahmed Sultan Essa Al Jaber holds a Master's degree in Strategic and Security Studies from the National Defense College in Abu Dhabi, a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Griffith University in Australia, and a Diploma in Commerce from the Queensland Institute of Business and Technology in Australia.
