On the sidelines of the exhibition, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Republic of South Africa.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on the Emirati side by His Excellency Humaid bin Salem - Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), and on the South African side by H.E. Noah Debeila, President & CEO of SMME Chamber of Commerce in South Africa, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, technology transfer and industrial services between the business communities of the two countries. The memorandum of understanding also confirms that the two parties will regularly exchange information on economic development, opening horizons for increasing trade, and expanding economic and industrial cooperation between companies and organizations.
