H.E. Dr. Ghalia Ali Mohamed Ali Humaidan serves as Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Czech Republic, and has an extensive diplomatic career spanning postings across Europe and key headquarters roles.
She began her diplomatic service at the UAE Embassy in Paris (2002–2008), followed by assignments at the UAE Embassy in Madrid (2008–2010) and the UAE Embassy in Lisbon (2010–2012). She later served at the Ministry’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (2012–2015), contributing to the UAE’s international engagement on sustainability and climate diplomacy.
In 2015, she served as Deputy Head of Mission at the UAE Embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium, the European Union, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, where she played a key role in advancing UAE–EU relations. In 2022, she was appointed Political Advisor in the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
H.E. Dr. Al Humaidan holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the American University of Paris and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Boston University (Paris) and Schiller International University in Paris. She obtained a PhD in Political Science from Université Paris-Sud XI, Faculté Jean Monnet.
