UAE sends urgent relief supplies to affected communities by the Mayon Volcano in the Philippines

The UAE sent a plane carrying 51 tonnes of relief and food supplies to help thousands of people affected by the Mayon Volcano in Albay Province in the Philippines, which caused landslides and lava flows and displaced thousands of people, mostly children, women, and the elderly.
The Humanitarian Flight was welcomed by H.E. Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi UAE Ambassador in Manila, also present were H.E. Benjamin Abalos Jr., Secretary of the Philippine Department of Interior and Local Government, H.E Rex Gatchalian Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, as well H.E Jaime Bautista Secretary of the Philippine Department of Transportation and other government officials.
