 Gender balance: The UAE and Bahrain are a model in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain and the General Women's Union in the country. Where 6 working papers were submitted from the UAE and Bahrain sides.

On the Emirati side, Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Director of the UN Women’s Liaison Office in Abu Dhabi, spoke about the efforts of the UAE with regard to peacekeepers and the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, security and peace.

Ms. Ahlam Al-Lamki, Director of the Research and Development Department at the General Women's Union, spoke about gender balance and the empowerment of Emirati women, explaining the pillars of the Emirati experience in empowering the leadership of Emirati women.

Aisha Al-Rumaithi, Director of the Strategic Planning Office at the General Women's Union, also spoke about the experience of the General Women's Union in facing the Covid-19 virus.

On the Bahraini side, Her Excellency Sheikha Dina bint Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women, spoke about the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the role of women in the field of maintaining peace and security in relation to the decision and the procedures followed at the national level.

Mrs. Rania Ahmed Al-Jarf, Director of the Center for Gender Balance at the Supreme Council for Women, spoke about the national model for gender balance, touching on the reality of gender balance in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the national model and development tools to achieve this.

Mrs. Abeer Muhammad Daham, Director of the Women's Support Center at the Supreme Council for Women, spoke about the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women and containing the repercussions of the (Covid-19) virus, dealing with the immediate digital transformation in the work of the General Secretariat in general and the work of the Women Support Center in particular, and the impact of this pre-preparedness on Continue to provide advice and support in all fields in times of crisis, especially at the present time with the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.
