UAE Ambassador Participates in a Dialogue Session at the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies

The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) hosted H.E. Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, for a dialogue session addressing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the role of research centers in strengthening these relations. The session was held at the Center’s headquarters in Awali on Wednesday, 17 September 2025.

H.E. the Ambassador was received by Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT), who welcomed H.E. the Ambassador and his accompanying delegation to the Center. He praised the depth of the historic fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and their longstanding strategic partnership across various fields.

H.E. the Ambassador emphasized the important role of research centers in anticipating future developments and examining strategic issues of major significance to the region. He called for strengthening and expanding cooperation between research centers in the two brotherly countries through the exchange of expertise and knowledge and the conduct of joint studies.

During the dialogue session, participants highlighted the unique historical nature of Bahrain-UAE relations and their rapid development across various fields, reflecting a leading model of unity and integration between the two brotherly countries.

The session also reviewed the vital role of think tanks and research centers in both countries in strengthening these relations and advancing bilateral cooperation through existing intellectual partnerships and strategic dialogues between DERASAT and a number of Emirati research institutions and centers. These initiatives have contributed to broadening the scope of constructive discussions on regional and international issues and underscoring the role of knowledge as a strong bridge that deepens fraternal ties and supports the two brotherly countries’ aspirations for a more prosperous and flourishing future.
