During its Participation in the Bahrain Sports Day Activities, UAE Embassy in Manama Introduces Participants to the Abu Dhabi World Masters Games 2026

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the activities of Bahrain Sports Day, in cooperation with the General Sports Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain, through a dedicated platform promoting the Abu Dhabi World Masters Games 2026, currently being held in the UAE capital.

The event, being held for the first time in the Middle East, continues until 15 February, with the participation of more than 25,000 athletes representing over 100 nationalities, competing across 38 different sports.

H.E. Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirmed that the participation of the Embassy and its staff in Bahrain Sports Day activities reflects the depth of the longstanding fraternal relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to promoting community health and well-being.

His Excellency also noted that Abu Dhabi’s hosting of the international sporting event, the Abu Dhabi World Masters Games 2026, embodies the UAE’s vision of supporting community sports and promoting the concept of lifelong physical activity, while reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global destination for hosting major sporting championships and events.
