Fostering Investment and Private Sector Collaboration Between the UAE and the Maldives
In the framework of enhancing economic partnership and expanding the horizons of cooperation between the private sectors in the two countries,the Chargé d’Affaires Heba Aljneibi at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Maldives, met with Dr. Mariyam Shakeela, Chief Executive Officer of "SIMDI" Group (SIMDI Group) and Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Maldives. The meeting witnessed the discussion of bilateral investment opportunities and the development of commercial partnerships in vital sectors including distribution, logistics, food security, and tourism, contributing to supporting mutual economic growth.
